Christian Africa Building North & South

There is a coincidence between the African culture and the Church's social teaching when it states that development isn't only economical ~ but it is an undertaking to build-up a more decent life through united labour, of concretely enhancing every individual's dignity and creativity, as well as his and her capacity to respond to their personal vocation, and thus, to God's call.

Africa can show the world that not only it knows these principles but that it knows also how to apply them tin an exemplary way and in its present-day history.  The Comboni Fathers, Brothers, Sisters and Lay-missionaries feel directly involved in this process of great and world-wide changes. Our presence in different continents has led us to give priority to the means of social communications where we are present. We do this service while trying to keep up an active, constant and ongoing conversion of our attitudes ~ to make it a prophetic service with the Church and for the evangelization of individual persons and of the whole ethnic groups.
