When "No" Is the Deeper Yes

We pray from the narrow vantage point of this present moment, asking for what appears good from where we stand. But we hold a candle in a vast cathedral—our perspective is real yet necessarily limited.

The closed door may be protecting us from a path that would diminish us. The unanswered prayer may be making space for a "yes" we haven't learned to recognize yet. What looks like denial from our limited view might actually be redirection toward something we lack even the vocabulary to request.

Pray with both clarity and surrender, ask specifically while trusting that we are held, especially when we cannot see the holding.
