Generous and Committed Missionaries

Mission is proclaiming God's Kingdom by embodying Christ's compassion. The true missionary shares what God has revealed through personal encounter with Christ, reading Scripture in the Spirit's light and allowing it to transform their thinking and actions.

Mission means "being with" rather than "going for"—becoming incarnate in people's lives, especially the marginalized, so they experience the fullness of life. This requires sharing the journey by walking together through the struggles and joys of faith, undergoing a radical conversion that returns us to our charismatic roots and prioritizes being over doing, and practicing deep solidarity through listening, respecting, trusting, and allowing ourselves to be transformed by the poor.

True mission isn't measured by accomplishments but by hearts touched and our own transformation—for in fully sharing life with others, we discover what it means to be fully human.
