Seven Indicators of a Mission-Minded Life (3&4)

3. Idealism

People express their ideals when looking at the world and its problems ~ giving a new vision, enthusiasm and energy to issues concerning peace, justice and the integrity of creation, being part of building a better world! We need to continually nurture these values and longings present in us so that they may become our driving force and throughout our lives, we can tap into what we practice and cultivate.

4. Leadership

Those called to mission are people who can work well with others, who do not avoid taking charge when the need arises, who take responsibility with leadership talents ~ delegating work, and overseeing groups. The mission needs people who are willing to step forward when needed ~ not lording over others but as catalysts to collaboration and teamwork.
