Save Africa with Africa

To save Africa by means of Africa was part of St. Comboni's missionary wisdom, as expressed in his Plan. In living this new age of mission, the figure and the work of Comboni will help us to discern its values, and the true paths that make up the journey of the Church. We always listen to the Churches were we are present, to better respond to the Spirit while making our own charism present.

Every Institute has its style of apostolate that allows it to become part of the life of the Church in a way that is not vague or ambiguous. Seeking and respecting this identity with the Local Church includes sharing in their options. This is not easy, metenoia in the apostolic life is a gift and a continual spiritual effort. It remains a beautiful thing to see the community develop, organize it's liturgical life and take on missionary tasks...

Inculturation of the Gospel is what we call it, following in the footsteps of St. Comboni, our contributions to inculturation have been notable. Not only through study and writings but also through projects, activities, patient sharing... Wherever we are, each Church and community is called on to discover its own genuine expressions of faith.
