Holistic Missionary Approach
Our missionary work, inspired by St. Daniel Comboni, promotes human rights, peace, justice, and civic awareness. We follow the conviction that the Gospel must be rooted in people's lives—inculturated—and serve as good news that helps them improve their lives, becoming a force of personal, social, and cultural transformation. Evangelization and inculturation constitute an inseparable pair if the Gospel is truly to be incarnate in people's lives. The Gospel should acquire local expression while spurring cultural change.
This holistic approach contrasts sharply with many sects and independent churches that exploit people's fears, vulnerabilities, and desperation—promising miraculous interventions in exchange for money while offering little for genuine human development. These "fake brands" of Christianity pursue the self-interest of power and money-thirsty leaders rather than the good of the people.
True evangelization doesn't promise escape from the world's struggles, it gives people the tools, dignity, and hope to transform them.
