CHURCH ROOF APPEAL
For generations, our Church has been a place of worship and a sanctuary of peace, comfort, community and celebration. Today, however, the building faces a critical challenge: the main roof is failing, and we urgently need your help to repair it During heavy rainfall, water is entering the building, causing damage to the structure of the roof and to the wooden ceiling. A recent inspection has identified that the copper covering on the spire and on the surrounding roof, dating from 1964, is thinning, cracked and leaking, and needs to be replaced. The felt covering on the main (pitched) roof of the Church, dating from the early 1980's, is lifting and again needs complete replacement.
We are in the process of instructing Surveyors to prepare a detailed specification and schedule of works for tender, but initial estimates place the total cost of the works in question in the region of £200,000. We need your invaluable support in protecting this welcoming Sacred Space, and preserving a cherished place of worship and community, for generations to come. Every gift, large or small, will directly fund the new roof. Thank you for your faith, for your support and for your generosity.

The Welcome Café
The Welcome Café, held in the meeting room at the Father’s House, is a special monthly gathering where minds meet, stories unfold, and connections bloom. Friday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Check the Newsletter for which Friday.
Each month, we feature engaging guest speakers who share their unique experiences and insights, offering fresh perspectives that spark curiosity and deepen our understanding of the world around us.

Children's Liturgy
During term time at our 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass, children who have not yet made their First Holy Communion are invited to Children's Liturgy. They'll explore that Sunday's Gospel and learn about the first part of the Mass, rejoining the congregation after the Prayers of the Faithful. Parents are encouraged to accompany their child.

Adoration
We invite you to experience the grace and tranquillity of Adoration every Wednesday in the chapel of the Father’s House. The Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, offering a peaceful time for prayer and reflection. Benediction is held at 12:15 PM. All are welcome to join in this sacred time of devotion.

Lectio Divina
Discover the beauty of Lectio Divina in our monthly gathering, where we reflect on a text from the upcoming Sunday liturgy. Through gentle contemplation of scripture, we create a peaceful space to deepen our connection to God’s Word and share our insights in community.
These months of June through August, weekly every Thursday beginning 7pm in the Meeting Room of the Father’s House.

Taizé Prayer
Join us for Taizé Prayer every Friday evening, right after the 6:30 PM Mass at the Father’s House. This peaceful half-hour of soothing melodies, prayers and chants, is the perfect way to unwind and prepare for the weekend and week ahead!

Coffee Mornings
Join us every Sunday after the 10 AM Mass for our friendly and welcoming Coffee Mornings. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parishioners, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and engage in meaningful conversations.
